Abstract: A new data storage device may soon challenge the very concept of “memory” as we know it. Traditional memories, like the CD-ROM, store data as bits and bytes according to Shannon’s information theory. A new Autosophy information theory in contrast stores information as “tips” or address tokens in a mathematical hyperspace. Very high data compression results because the more information already stored, the less memory space required to store additional information.
