Information theories
Defining the true nature of information, learning, and communication (Shannon vs. Autosophy)
Research opportunity
Abstract: There is no doubt that the new Autosophy information theory will transform our entire communications infrastructure and replace the programmed data processing computer with a next generation of brain-like self-learning Autosopher. But, designing new gadgets for financial profit is only a small part of the story. Autosophy was originally founded to explain the enigma of self-assembling structures, such as crystals, living trees, or societies, which build themselves, and which seem to violate long established scientific principles. A fundamentally new theory needs promoters, defenders, and additional research, to be accepted by the academic community. Unlike Darvin’s theory of evolution, we may not have a hundred years to convince most of the experts and critics. Autosophy research offers new intellectual pioneers a chance to leave the world of “meaningless information”, sterile equations, and long established majority expert opinion, to find new truth, new relationships, and new insight of why nature behaves the way it does. This will be a long and rocky road full of frustration and resistance from self-appointed “defenders of the established faith”. Your help and research is urgently needed now.
Applications: This research may not provide the financial rewards of designing new gadgets. It may, however, offer the intellectual reward of finding new truth and new understanding, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
Keywords: Autosophy, Information theory, self-assembling structures.
